Tony Renouf Chair

Tony has lived in the village with wife Jackie for 7 years. They have two married sons, one living in Newbury and the other in Majorca. He was trained as an engineer and worked in the defence industry after graduating in 1959. A Councillor since 1997 he was elected Chairman in 2001. He has recently retired and become a full time under gardener and odd job man.

Ward: Bath Road east from Watermill Court to Froud’s Lane and Railside


Sarah Giles Vice Chair

Sarah moved to Angel Mead 20 years ago with her husband and baby daughter. She works part time locally or from home and helps with some of the village activities. Through different groups, projects and work she has met Woolhampton residents from all over the Parish. Interests are gardening, rugby and photography. She has been a Councillor for 3 ½ years and is heading the production of the Woolhampton Parish Plan.

Cathy Vallis

Cathy has lived in Station Road for the past 18 years with husband Terry. Became - and still is - involved in many village groups and organisations after giving up work not long after moving here. She organises the monthly market and is a keen gardener and allotment holder. Cathy became a Parish Councillor in 1996.

Ward: Station Road north of the railway. Bath Road south from the Village Hall up to and including Watermill Court


Jack Lovell

Having lived most of this life in the village, Jack now lives with his wife Catherine and four sons in Upper Woolhampton. His training is in ,marketing and communication and his career has been principally in construction. He runs the family farm, is a founder governor of an autistic school and is keen to make Woolhampton a better place in which to live. Jack became a Councillor 2 ½ years ago.

Graham Ward

Graham has lived on Carbinswood Lane for the past 21 years. Now retired after a career in IT. He has two married sons. He has been a Parish Councillor for the past two years and is also a Governor of Woolhampton School and Chair of its Finance Committee.

Ward: Kiff Green Farm to Rose Croft, Angel’s Copse and Carbinswood Lane


Jonathan Vincent

Recently moved to Upper Woolhampton from Kintbury, married with five children. A Chartered Surveyor by training and still works in the property industry. Has been actively involved in reducing the size of the Douai Abbey scheme and hopes the village will continue to grow as a close-knit community. Councillor since August 2002.

Ward: Douai, Cods Hill and Broom Hill


Gerald Hale

Gerald has lived in the village for over 50 years and attended the local primary school. His interests are snooker, golf, gardening and playing the guitar. He was Treasurer and Committee member of the Woolhampton Snooker Club until the club closed. Gerald became a Councillor in May 2003.
